What is a deck building game?

A deck building game is a type of board game that utilizes cards to play. Unlike most card games, buying the game gets you all of the cards with no randomization! During game play, you start with a set of relatively weak S.H.I.E.L.D. cards which you use to purchase (recruit) cards with your favorite Marvel heroes to your deck. These Marvel hero cards are stronger than your starter S.H.I.E.L.D. cards and allow you to better recruit additional heroes or to fight villains. You win the game by building a strong deck of hero cards and defeating the villains trying to terrorize the city. Below, you will find a gallery of sample card images and videos to help show off the game. Welcome to the Marvel Legendary community!

These videos explain how the game plays. The left video is less than five minutes to give you a very brief overview of the game to help you decide if this game is for you. The middle video is 23 minutes long and is helpful as you play through your first game. Finally, the third video shows you a playthrough from the TableTop show; this is the video that made me want to buy this game, I highly recommend it.
